Spend the morning at your leisure until transfer to the airport for flight to Dalat. On arrival, transfer to hotel. After a briefing on the biking and selection, enjoy the beautiful scenery and cool fresh air by riding up and down the hills to visit the ethnic Lat Village. The tribes live in houses on stilts and grow coffee and vegetables. Pedal around Lang Biang Mountain which has five volcanic peaks ranging in attitude over 2100m. Drive back to the hotel in the evening. You are free to walk about this little town at your own pace. Dinner is at restaurant.
Overnight in Dalat
Mid morning, hope on your bike riding along the beautiful Xuan Huong Lake where the air is fresh and the scenery is lush. The city of eternal spring is also known for its fresh local produce and you will get the chance to visit beautiful farms full of vegetables, flowers or strawberries. In addition to offering a cool mountainous respite, Dalat is also home to spectacular religious structures. It is called Museum of French architecture at the end of 19th century in Indochina. Admire the splendor of “Le Petit de Paris” on 2-wheels by cycling uphill through pine forests on Tran Hung Dao street. Ride down to Dalat railway station which owns architecture of the East of France. Final stop is at Domain de Marie church used by catholic nuns of the Missionary of Charity sect. Built in 1938 atop a hill, it offers stunning panoramic views. Spend the remainder of the day strolling through the colorful Dalat market with your guide or just explore this flower city on your own. Independent lunch and dinner.
Overnight in Dalat
Leave Dalat for the beach city Nha Trang. Cycle 60km down the stunning yet challenging Ngoan Muc Pass to Nha Trang. Nha Trang is known for its fabulous sunny weather, turquoise waters, and a white sandy beach stretching the whole length of the city. Enjoy one of Vietnam's premier beach destinations with a half-day boat cruise around the Nha Trang bay. Lunch is at seafood restaurant. Remainder of the day is for beach relaxation.
Overnight in Nha Trang
After breakfast, shuttle out of the town to the Dien Khanh Citadel circa 18th century built by a prince of Nguyen lineage. Start cycling along the country road past paddy fields and homes making rice paper. After 35 km, we stop at a church for a break and enjoy our packed lunch before continuing on the quiet road until we reach National Highway 1. Return to the hotel. Dinner is at your hotel.
Overnight in Nha Trang
Morning, transfer to the airport for flight to Danang. Upon arrival in Danang, transfer to hotel with a stop at the Cham Museum, housing the best collection of the Cham ruins dating from 2nd to 15th century. Then cycle the 30km distance to Hoi An through country villages. Lunch is at restaurant. Between 17th and 19th centuries, Hoi An was a prosperous trading port. Today, this World Heritage-listed ancient town boasts well-preserved buildings, pedestrian-friendly streets and unique cuisine, allowing visitors a glimpse of its illustrious past. The narrow lanes are ideal for a walking tour to visit the old merchant’s house with influences from Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture; the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge; the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation with outstanding wood carvings; and the colorful market with stalls brimming with tropical specialties including silk, which can be turned into fashionable garments within a day. Dinner is on your own.
Overnight in Hoi An
Today pedal to one of the best-preserved Cham centers in Vietnam, My Son is the former capital of the ancient Cham civilization that ruled Central Vietnam from the 2nd to the 13th century. The 1.5 - hour drive in the morning will bring you to My Son where there are 20 monuments still standing today, set in a verdant valley surrounded by hills and overlooked by massive Cat's Tooth Mountain. Stroll around the temple complex to learn about the Cham culture, architecture and civilization before coming back to Hoi An before noon.
