Tour itinerary
Travel east by vehicle from Hanoi to Hai Phong, the main industrial centre of the north and one of the country’s most important seaports. Take the opportunity and visit some of the town’s highlights, the DU HANG PAGODA which is a beautiful example of traditional Vietnamese architecture. Then take a visit to the communal house of DINH HANG KENH.
Overnight in Hai Phong
Transfer by hydrofoil from Hai Phong to Cat Ba Island which is a journey east the Halong Bay past the island of Cat Hai. Go on an excursion to THINH LINH LAKE and take the opportunity for fishing and kayaking in the Lan Ha Bay.
Overnight on the Cat Ba Island
In the morning, transfer to the Beo pier and take a boat to the VIET HAI VILLAGE which will take roughly 1 hour. Enjoy rural traditions and climb up to the Hai Quan View Point and enjoy the breath taking view. Then have lunch in a small village house and enjoy the local food. Depart from Viet Hai Village to the Jetty. From there continue the trip by boat to visit Lan Ha Bay, which is one of the most beautiful bays in the Ha Llong community with hundreds of small and big islands. The boat stops at the Van Boi Beach. Take a kayak to visit the monkey island and its ponds and small caves. Swim to see the corals or raking oyster and relax in this wonderful environment. Return to Beo pier.
Overnight on the Cat Ba Island
Transfer by boat from the Cat Ba Island to Halong and pass the striking limestone islands which rise up from the clear green waters of the bay. The trip includes short stops at some of the islands and at least one beautiful cave along the way. Travel by vehicle from Ha Llong to Hanoi.
