Tour itinerary
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International airport, explore and enjoying all the many sites this city has to offer from the back of a chauffeur driven vintage vespa! Wind through District One before heading to the famous Saigon landmarks, the post office and the Cathedral of Notre Dame as well as the Centre Post Office and pass by the ornate City Hall( Hotel De Ville) and old Opera House. Visit The Unification Palace which formerly was Independence palace of the South Vietnamese President. Visit Thien Hau Pagoda which was built by The Cantonese Congregation. Finally, end up at the centre Ben Thanh Market, where vendor display a vast of variety of traditional goods and handicrafts.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
Transfer to Cuchi, passing paddy fields. Never discovered by America forces, these tunnels were an important Vietcong base during America War. Stretching over 200km, this incredible underground network, dug by hand out of hard laterite, connected commands posts, hospitals, shelter and weapon factories. Today, you can walk through the area and learn about the day – to day like of the VC, see the cleverly disguised entrances and elaborate booby- traps, and even venture inside the tunnels, some of which have been modified to accommodate tourists. Proceed to Vung Tau, a well known coastal resort 125km southeast of Sai gon.
In the evening, enjoy the fresh seafood in a Vietnamese restaurant and a round cape drive along the seaside with sightseeing by dawn.
Overnight in Vung Tau
After breakfast, visit to the Summer Palace of the Emperor Bao Dai, the Jesus Monument, which overlooks the peninsula and the Pacific Ocean. Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City after lunch.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
Transfer to outskirt of Ho Chi Minh City and begins the tour on the beautiful countryside road. Take a private boat trip to Mekong River island near My Tho and stop to visit fruit orchard and listen to traditional music before returning My Tho explore the small canals and lush jungle scenery by hand – rowed sampan. Back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, free at leisure until transfer to airport for departure flight.
