On arrival in Bangkok, meet with the guide at Suvarnabhumi Airport and transfer to the hotel by private limousine car. Upon arrival, take some time relax and enjoy the settings of the beautiful hotel and spa.
We can offer a wide choice of hotels in Bangkok; however, for the perfect honeymoon experience, we have chosen the Peninsula Hotel (Grand Deluxe Room) due to its riverside location, stylish décor and romantic views.
After relaxing at the hotel, head out for a drive through Bangkok’s old quarters for a look at the illuminated Grand Palace, the Royal Grounds, an assortment of temples and Ratchadamnoen Avenue lit up in dramatic fashion. A lavish Thai dinner and cocktails against the stunning backdrop of the Rattanakosin skyline at “The Deck” Riverside Restaurant will be a perfect finish to an enchanting but laid-back first night in Thailand.

Rise early in the morning and head to Wat Pho in time to witness monks performing a morning chanting ritual (chanting starts at 09:00). After this uplifting and often private experience, visit the temple grounds and the famous 45-metre reclining Buddha. Continue to The Grand Palace, Thailand’s most important landmark, and be awed by the grandeur and majesty of the building and its throne halls. Then, marvel at the mysterious Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image in Thailand.
A sumptuous Thai lunch awaits at Supatra River House.
In the afternoon, board a traditional private longtail boat and cruise down the Chao Phraya River for a tour of Bangkok’s charming network of canals. For two hours, step back in time and experience a more traditional way of life, far removed from Bangkok’s modern skyscrapers and metropolitan vibes. Then, stop at the Temple of Dawn or Wat Arun – one of the most prominent landmarks of Bangkok.
After disembarking from the boat, hop in a car and head to Chinatown Square for the start of an interesting walk through one of the oldest parts of Bangkok. Walk along Yaowarat Road and visit shops selling strange and interesting things. Continue to a very old tea shop to enjoy a cup of Chinese tea with locals before heading down Trok Leng Moi Eia (a small alley) to Talad Kao for an interesting local market with variety of fresh foods, fresh & dry fruits, Chinese herbs, groceries. End the walk at Wat Leng Nei Yee and visit the Taoist temple. Return to your hotel late afternoon.

Partake in an offering of alms to the monks to receive blessings for a healthy and safe trip. Then make a short climb up to the temple’s golden mount to enjoy panoramic views of Rattanakosin Island while listening to the chimes of hundreds of temple bells. Continue with a drive through historical areas of Bangkok, passing some of the city’s most beautiful landmarks and temples. Visitors to Wat Ratchabophit will be amazed by the perfect blend of Thai architectural on the exterior and exquisite European-influenced interior. The tour will wrap up at the Tiger God Shrine, one of the oldest Taoist temples in Bangkok which is a popular place of worship among Thai-Chinese.
A lavish Thai lunch is exclusively served at the Jim Thompson Restaurant -an iconic stop in Bangkok that is equal-parts historical heritage and renowned dining destination. Afterwards, be sure to visit the Jim Thompson Museum and shop.

After breakfast, meet with the guide and transfer to the airport by limousine car for the flight to Chiang Mai. On arrival in the northern Thai capital, meet with the guide and head to the hotel in limousine car.
In the afternoon, explore the ancient city of Chiang Mai, including its old city walls, gates, moat and markets. After visiting Wat Suan Dok, where the ashes of Chiang Mai’s royal family are interred, and the historic Jed Yod Temple, continue to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Set high on a mountain on the outskirts of Chiang Mai, it’s the most sacred temple in northern Thailand. The local guide will explain the story of the temple, its impressive chedi and beautiful murals. In the late afternoon, after the tourist masses have already left, experience the unique magical vibes of the temple around dusk just as the city lights from Chiang Mai begin to light up below. Receive an unforgettable private blessing ceremony then watch the evening chanting ceremony of the temple’s monks.
Afterwards, take part in a uniquely northern Thai and extraordinarily memorable Khantoke dinner. The meal is served on special, low, circular tables called toke. That’s not what makes the dining experience special, though. While dining on delicious local specialties, watch a spectacular performance of northern Thai folk dancing.
Overnight in Chiang Mai
Early in the morning, depart from the hotel around 06:00 (note: take away a breakfast box from the hotel) and be transferred by a deluxe car to a beautiful northern Thai-style teak wood house and restaurant surrounded by a nice, relaxing garden with old trees. The house is beautifully decorated in traditional Lanna style, adorned with scented flowers at every corner of the house, keeping the authentic touch and feel of a Northern Lanna wedding ceremony. Upon arrival, we will make arrangements for a traditional “Lanna” style wedding. Be dressed in “Lanna” wedding costumes, followed by the morning wedding ceremony with a parade from the groom with trays of gifts and flowers. Then receive a ‘soul enlightenment’ (aka ‘Kwan’ in Thai) in order to have a blessed and happy marriage life. Continue with the private blessing ceremony led by a head monk. While the sweet scent of incense fills the air, receive personalised blessings from the monk who will do a water dousing tie a symbolically 'binding' string around the wrists. End the ceremony by planting a love tree before returning to the hotel.
After the ceremony, enjoy a “khao soy” lunch at the house. Khao soy is a traditional curried noodle soup that has been promoted from its status as ‘street food’ to being one of the signature dishes of northern Thai cuisine. Each meal is served in specially designed ‘khao soy’ sets, consisting of 8 small ceramic condiment dishes, laid around a large ‘khao soy’ bowl and set on an artist’s palette.
In the afternoon, relax at the hotel and enjoy the hotel facilities.

After breakfast, be picked up for a memorable full-day tour of Gachorgwa Elephant Camp. The camp, as part of the Elephant Wisdom Inherit Project, was established with the intention of improving the quality of life for elephants and their mahouts, as well as preserving the traditional Karen wisdom on how to care for elephants. Here, learn how to make friends with the elephants, how to take care of them emotionally and physically and learn the skills needed to control them under the supervision of the elephant keeper.
Have a magical opportunity to bathe the elephants after an hour-long stroll through the mountains and surrounding jungle. Wrap up the day by thanking the new pachyderm friends with a feast of their favourite snacks -which they will be delighted to receive!
