Tour itinerary
Travel by vehicle from Hue to Dong Ha. See the BEN HAI RIVER which was once the demarcation line between North and South. Continue the trip and visit the VINH MOC TUNNELS, built by villagers of Vinh Moc who lived in one of the most heavily bombed places. Then head off to the CUA TUNG BEACH which is a long secluded stretch of sand. Take the opportunity to visit the Quang Tri Citadel. End the tour at the DOC MIEU BASE which is located on a low rise south of the Ben Hai River and is part of the former Mc Namara line. Travel by vehicle from Dong Ha to Dong Hoi.
Overnight in Dong Hoi
Enjoy an excursion to Phong Nha Cave located in the village of Son Trach. There are meters of underground passageways filled with abundant stalactites and stalagmites.
