Overnight in Hanoi

Today you will visit the Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the Humble House on Stilts, Ho Chi Minh Museum and the One Pillar Pagoda. Later drive to the serene Temple of Literature, and enjoy a walking tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. This evening take in a performance of the famous Vietnamese Water Puppet Show.

Overnight in Hanoi

Morning depart for Ha Long Bay, we go through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Ha Long Bay is truly one of Vietnam's most impressive scenic sights. Heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Ha Long Bay. This exciting cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliff.

Overnight on cruise

Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. Visit beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Ha Long Bay while cruising back to the dock where the driver will pick you up and transfer back to Hanoi  (approx. 3.5hr drive) before boarding your overnight Reunification Express Train.

Arrive at Da Nang station late morning, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Hoi An. After lunch, enjoy a walking tour through the ancient streets of this charming town. Sightseeing in Hoi An involves approx... 2hrs on foot.

Overnight in Hoian

Today you are free to explore Hoi An at your leisure. Take an optional cycling tour through traditional Vietnamese countryside to Cam An Beach or Cooking class in Tra Que Village at your own arrangement.

Overnight in Hoian

This morning check out of your hotel in Hoi An, then drive to the My Son Sanctuary, one of the most important examples of Hindu influence in South East Asia. Sightseeing at My Son Sanctuary involves approx. 1.5hrs on foot. After lunch, continue to drive to Qui Nhon for overnight.

Overnight in Quy Nhon

After breakfast and checkout, drive along the Vietnam south coast to Nha Trang. Along the way, stop at the Po Nagar Cham Tower, a sacred Hindu site.

Overnight in Nha Trang

Explore four islands by boat today, Mieu Island, Mun Island, Mot Island and Con Se Tre Beach. Throughout the day you will stop at the Tri Nguyen Aquarium and Fishing Village, as well as relax, swim and snorkel.

Overnight in Nha Trang

After an early breakfast, transfer to Nha Train Railway Station for your early train to Saigon. Sit back and relax whilst enjoying the beautiful countryside into Saigon. Afternoon, we’ll take a sightseeing tour with first stop is Reunification Palace, formerly the Presidential Palace governed by the US-pro government of Republic of Vietnam. Keep going to the Notre Dame Catholic cathedral.

Overnight in Saigon

Leave Saigon for a 3-hour drive to Cai Be with stop en route for a tea break. Upon arrival, board a motorized boat to visit the popcorn cake, rice paper making family before visiting the lively floating market of Cai Be. Then continue by boat towards Vinh Long province to see the diverse fish traps in order to learn a kind of lazy fishing. After cruising along small shady canals, we step ashore and take a chance to watch a typical and interesting music show of the Mekong cultural life. Lunch is at the home/ bonsai garden. Afternoon, take a walk for about half an hour to enjoy the rural peaceful atmosphere of the countryside life, on the way we can also stop en route to learn more about fruit trees. Then back to Sai gon on late afternoon.

Overnight in Saigon

Breakfast at hotel (last included meal). According to the return flight and airline there should be some free time for last minute shopping at a local market.
