Travel by vehicle from Lao Cai to Bac Ha and stop for a visit to the vibrant CAN CAU market situated close to the Chinese border. Take the opportunity and watch the daily life of the Flower H’mong minority with their colourful dresses. Then enjoy a leisurely trekking tour through the mountain countryside around Bac Ha. Head off to visit the Pho village as well as the villages of the Flower H’mong and Tay people.

Overnight in Bac Ha

Visit the colourful market at Bac Ha where ethnic minorities from around the region gather to trade water buffalo, livestock and handicrafts. Travel by vehicle back to Sa Pa and enjoy the lovely rural scenery which is home to many distinct hill tribe groups. Visit the HAM RONG MOUNTAIN and the SAN MAY(Cloud Yard) on the way.

Overnight in Sa Pa

Travel by vehicle from Sa Pa to the village of Lao Chai where the trekking tour begins. Visit the H’mong, Dzay and Dzao people and watch their daily life. Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the terraced rice paddies,waterfalls and the small bamboo forests that are unique to the northern region. From Ta Van continue to Giang Ta Chai which is another minority village populated by H’mong and Dzay. Then travel back to Sa Pa and transfer to the Lao Cai train station.
